Clorox Looks to Valley SOA Start-up TasmanAve to Architect its SOA Ground-Breaking

Clorox Engages TasmanAve to Build SOA Solution Using Oracle

San Jose, CA - September 20, 2006 – After a few months of evaluation, TasmanAve proved SOA to indeed bring whiter and brighter  to the bleach company's enterprise IT solutions.  Led by TA, the evaluation deemed that SOA could bring significant cost savings and flexibility to Clorox's enterprise systems.  Next steps include roll out of a first production project and roadmaps for additional projects and SOA capabilities such as Web services security and service registry.

TA will architect new transport management system based on SOA principles and technologies.  TA brings 10 years of SOA architecture and along with over 35 years of business planning and general large scale IT architecture experience to the Clorox project.  Together TA, Clorox, and its SOA vendor-partners, plan to achieve cost savings, ease of integration of new vendors, and improved KPI (key performance indicators) using the new SOA-based logistics system. "The Clorox project capitalizes on TasmanAve's strengths—helping businesses assess and adopt SOA principals. We are confident that the final production solution will exceed Clorox's expectations and goals," said Chad Salinas, TasmanAve Chief Operating Officer.
