TasmanAve Architects and Delivers SOA-based Integration between
Ariba On Demand and Oracle Apps ERP & Agile Product Lifecycle
Management Solutions
San Jose, California,
September 29, 2008 -- TasmanAve, Inc., today announced that the
SOA-based solution which integrates a SAAS application--Ariba On
Demand—with internal “destination” systems Oracle ERP and Oracle
Agile went live over the weekend. The solution bridges the gap
between On Demand applications which are increasingly becoming a big
part of a corporation’s master data strategy and its day-to-day
internal business systems.
BPEL-based business processes work behind the scenes to process
information from Ariba On Demand that support daily and
end-of-period transactions for finance and operations departments as
well as new production introductions. Given the business critical
nature of these transactions, the solution relies on sophisticated &
specialized replay BPEL processes to ensure complete processing.
“While SAAS seems to be a natural way to go for many reasons, it
only makes the integration problem that much more important. We
recognize that and have expertise in blending our client’s needs for
adopting the SAAS model with ensuring their business critical
information doesn’t get lost amongst a myriad of source of truth
systems both in and outside their firewalls,” said Naresh Apte,
TasmanAve Founder and CEO.
