Takes SOA into Primetime at Popular Silicon Valley Computer
Peripherals Manufacturer
TasmanAve Architects SOA-based
Sales Information solution for Logitech Sales force
San
Jose, California, September 10, 2007 -- TasmanAve, Inc., today announced
that the SOA-based Sales Information solution it architected for
Logitech's Sales force went live this morning. The
solution, built over three months, was able to bypass many
complexities of a triangle integration amongst Oracle ERP, Lotus
Notes, and Salesforce.com with the use of latest SOA technologies.
The enterprise-strength solution includes staples such as security
and high availability but also a sophisticated use of Business
events to trigger business process activities. The solution
will allow Logitech's sales force real-time sales information at
their fingertips whether at work, at home, or on the road.
"Integrating
all the solution components in a traditional EAI fashion would have been
a painful experience. SOA principles and technologies removed
the complexities considerably while also allowing for the
flexibility to build a real time solution that works outside the
Logitech firewall," said Naresh Apte,
TasmanAve Founder and CEO.
